Bangkok Foodie: Gazebo Gastro Bar, Terminal 21
Terminal 21 is full of themed cafes and restaurants. But if the outside is decorated according to the floor (and destination) where it belongs, the interior often doesn’t fill up your expectations. Gazebo though, on the San Fransisco grounds, is a cozy stop inside a tramway wagon.
How does it look like?
As explained above, Gazebo’ s esthetic is charming and comfortable. You can either decide to sit in the cable car tram to enjoy the spectacular view of the whole shopping mall, or just cozy up in the armchairs in the mountain cabin vibe portion. I like the little doodles on the windows. So cute and romantic !
How do they treat you?
There was only one staff there when we tested the place, but she was helpful and could speak good enough English. She came to serve us our orders when they were completed, which is a nice touch for a café.
How is the food?
We tried the pink Milky Way (a milk and syrup concoction), the ice latte and the Nutella tower. I really enjoyed my coffee as it wasn’t too sweet and the taste very milky. The crêpe cake reminded me of my French childhood -when my grandmother used to make crêpes and accompany them with Nutella or fruit jam – and was simply scrumptious.
The prices are standard, around 100 bahts for drinks or cakes.
Gazebo is a cute place to go on a date or to check out the passer-by. Let the romance flow!
