After Seoul Grill, let’s check out another Japanese/Korean BBQ joint. Sukishi, known for its great value meals offers the possibility to have both sushi menus and charcoal grilled meat.

How does it look like?

The décor is quite basic but its bronze retractable chimneys bring a steam punk feeling to the place. The staff uniforms are both funny and confusing, the hostess is dressed in a hanbok, a traditional Korean dress, but the rest of the staff wears basic uniforms.

How do they treat you?

Service is quick, friendly and patient, even in rush hour (which is pretty much all the time in the huge Central Ladprao complex)

How is the food?

I usually come here for the sushis and I wasn’t disappointed. The rainbow makis were delicious and the spicy kick added to the sauce was perfect. The salmon skrewers were on the fatty side but still delectable. The grilled vegetables were peppery and crisp.
I really enjoyed my drink which was a lemon soda with aloe vera jelly.

How much?

The dishes are around 200 bahts and drinks around 100.

Verdict!

It is a great place, with a shortest queue than Shabushi or Zen, and gives you the chance to enjoy your sushi and/or your grilled meat. A good option when looking for a big table to sit all your family and friends.
