Felix Vallotton, le feu sous la glace, exhibition in Paris’ Grand Palais
Félix Vallotton (1865-1925) is a unique artist who, although close to the Nabis , kept his style very personal and modern. Identifiables, his paintings are distinguished by elegant colors and precise drawing cutting as it also offers some amazing engraving.
This exhibition is organized by the Musée d’ Orsay and the Meeting of national museums , the Grand Palais in co-organization with the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam, Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, Tokyo Nikkei Inc. . It enjoys tremendous support from the National Library of France , Museums of Art and History in Geneva and the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts in Lausanne .
