Tokyo Foodie: Omotesando Koffee, Omotesando
Omotesando Koffee is by far my favorite coffee place in Tokyo. Expert barista and one of a kind atmosphere make this little cube of a coffee shop the perfect location to relax but still being at the heart of Tokyo’s shopping district.
Owner Eiichi Kunitomo is the man responsible for other caffeine dens including the nearby Bread, Espresso & He.
How does it look like?
Step into another world. This little cube of a coffee shop is located inside a 60-year-old traditional Japanese house. The ambiance is zen-minimalist and the garden an invitation to contemplation.
How do they treat you?
There is only one barista working at the shop and whoever he is he will be of great advice and skills. Just observe him working his pristine La Cimbali machine. A real art performance!
How is the food?
The coffee is perfection! We had the hot cappuccino, the ice latte and some other coffee specialties. I also tried their only sweet treat, their baked custard. It is simple, subtle and delicious!
This coffee place has the power to make you feel special. It is a unique and exquisite experience. Few words of advice: try to go on week days, it can get easily crowded during the weekend.

How to go there?
It is hard to find but it is totally worthy.
