Follow me around: Sakura (cherry blossom) in Shinjuku Gyoen, Tokyo

I was lucky enough to go to Japan while the cherry blossoms were still visible. It was right at the end of sakura time but as you can see from the following video, Shinjuku Gyoen is a beautiful place to escape from the hassle of Tokyo.

A little history
Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (新宿御苑) is a large park with an eminent garden in Shinjuku and Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. It was originally a residence of the Naitō family in the Edo period. Afterwards, it became a garden under the management of the Imperial Household Agency of Japan. It is now a park under the jurisdiction of the national Ministry of the Environment.

How to go there?
